Buffalo Wild Wings - Des Moines

We were there Super Bowl night. It was extremely busy but surprisingly we didn?t have to wait long for service. Food was great. We tried a new menu item ?Thai curry chicken wings?. It was fantastic. And the waiter was awesome.

Waited almost 30 min to be seated because over half the tables weren't bused and they were severely short staffed (I guess). Once seated by the service door, my party of 4 waited and waited and waited just for water and upon looking around people that were seated after us had drinks and ordering food. ???? Music way too loud ...ended up walking out. Never again. This location coupled w the south side location has fell off. Used to love BWW but I'm done.

Terrible service. Waited 10 minutes for anybody to even acknowledge me. Have been waiting for my 10 wings for over 20 minutes as I am writing this. Only server that approached me was very nice and want to commend him for how polite and responsive he was to my wishes, I believe his name was Riley. Will not be back unless I do take out. But even takeout looks like it takes forever.

Today, on Sunday, August 21st, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant after running errands. Despite there only being a few tables occupied, we had to wait to be seated. Once we were seated, we waited a long time before someone took our drink and food order. The drinks that were brought to us had issues, but another server had to correct it as our waitress was nowhere to be found. Our food took a while to arrive, even though the restaurant was not busy. When it did arrive, it was brought by someone else and my order was incorrect. I mentioned this to the server, who never returned with the ranch dressing I requested. When I finally managed to flag down our waitress, she made excuses instead of taking responsibility for her job. The wings I ordered were cold and the service was extremely lacking. I eventually had to ask for a manager before I could pay for the subpar food and drinks and leave. The only time the waitress seemed prompt was when a manager was present. Overall, I have given this restaurant multiple chances, but they constantly fail to deliver good service.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and usually have no problems. However, tonight they seem to have trouble getting the Buffalo dry seasoning right. It was really disappointing.
