Dough Co. Pizza - Des Moines

I had a great experience at this charming pizza restaurant. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very laid-back. The pizza was delicious, although not the best I've ever had. I usually only leave reviews for places that I would give a 5-star rating, but I had to deduct a star because the lettuce in the salad was very wilted. Despite this, I will definitely be back to give it another try. It's nice to have a salad while waiting for your pizza at this place with a cozy vibe.

Very good pizza and decent salads. Very low key place where you order at the counter, and they will run food to you. They do offer some beers on tap and in can. It’s literally next door to xBk music club so a great place for a bite to eat and a beer before a show!

I tried the lunch special, which was very affordably priced considering the amount of food provided. The portion sizes were quite generous, as I couldn't finish my slice. Although there was initially some confusion regarding our group's salads, the issue was eventually resolved.

I have been dining at this restaurant regularly for the past year and a half. A year ago, I would have given it 5 stars. However, in the last 5-6 months, the quality has been declining. Many of the staff members have changed, and there are no longer any familiar faces. Additionally, the food is not up to the same standard as it used to be. I suggest bringing back the old staff for better service.
