Isla Del Pacifico Mexican - Des Moines

We were in Des Moines for a few hours, and decided to give this place a try. Food is 8/10, ambience 5/10, cleanliness 5/10. The place was really crowded, but the service was fast. Our waitress had trouble understanding us as we didn?t speak Spanish and sheis not fluent in English. We ordered Flan for our dessert and asked if they could serve us without the whipped cream. They didit anyway. Not a big deal though. Salsa and chips were free and tasted good.

Wonderful Food. Great customer service the staff is wonderful. Very relaxing environment. Wonderful selection of different kinds of seafood meals and drinks. Great for family to go eat at or just yourself. There is alcoholic beverages for adults. There istvs to watch and music. 5 stars!!! Highly recommend!!

Best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to! The food was AMAZING and the service was great! I got steak tacos and the flavor was outstanding! The salsa and pico was so good I was piling it on my last taco!!

The place was nice and clean, the staff were really nice. The food was amazing!

I wasn't impressed. The food isn't worth the price. The staff pays no attention to the customers, the drinks are watered down and you have to love shrimp because that's all every dish has in it.
