Kathmandu - Des Moines

Kathmandu has several clearly marked vegan and vegetarian elements on their menu. I enjoyed the vegan momo that are Nepalese noodles and come with a very tasty spicy sauce. we also ordered two more vegan curries that had beautiful spicy and aromen, but unfortunately were a little undersalted. perhaps there was an unfortunate day; I would be willing to give the advantage of the doubt and try kathmandu again!

That was so amazing! I wish happy cow would give it 5 stars. so many fantastic aromas and dishes! my new favourite restaurant!

So many vegan and vegetarian options! all we have ordered was very tasty – we got medium heat and it was definitiw wicyfamily owned and operated – everyone was so friendly and friendly! would give it 5 stars if it allowed

4-5 vegan options at buffet. Waiter was happy to point out which options were vegan

My boyfriend and I were visiting Des Moines and were craving Indian food. I came across this place, which is super easy to miss when driving. However, MAKE THE STOP! The owner is super friendly and very knowledgeable about what is vegan on the menu. We went for dinner and we left with happy hearts and full bellies. We actually had a lot leftover too! It’s a decent price and a lot of food! Highly recommend.
