La Hacienda - Des Moines

What a fantastic and tasty Mexican restaurant located in the heart of East Village! The food is excellent, and the service is exceptional. I've never experienced bad service or food here; everything has always been perfect, all at such affordable prices. If I ever had any issues, I know that the staff would promptly address my concerns. I've enjoyed spending one or two hours here with friends more than a dozen times. It's disheartening to see people in Des Moines leave one-star reviews instead of discussing their concerns with the owners. These are often the same individuals who wouldn't be able to successfully run a business themselves, or perhaps they simply have a bias. Let's not let our personal issues affect local businesses. We're fortunate to have such a gem in our neighborhood!

We visited this restaurant for dinner based on a friend's recommendation, and it was a great choice. The staff welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and we savored every moment of our meal. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future. Highly recommended!

We decided to share a chicken quesadilla next, and it turned out to be enormous, filled with cheese and chicken, and generously topped with guacamole and sour cream. It was so good that we couldn’t finish everything! Plus, the prices were very reasonable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
