Maccabee's Deli - Des Moines

I only recently heard of this place on the news while getting my teeth cleaned and was surprised to find how close it was to my workplace! I got the Roosevelt on garlic focaccia bread. The meat was flavorful, the bread was so soft, and the pasta salad was very tasty!I can't believe I didn't come here sooner! If you haven't been here yet, give them a shot. Such good food!!! :D

Such an amazing place! The pastrami on rye was the best I’ve had! The rye was so freshhhh! Sliced fresh right then and there! Going back tomorrow to try another item from their menu!! 10 out of 10– WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

Wow when you walk in it feels like you’re in NYC. Before I even paid for the food the nice lady was like “leave a review” she had this little smirk ?? the sandwich didn’t make it 5 minutes. Mustard bussin out the backend crazy good. Super fire. Thanks tiktok and thank you Macabee’s Kosher Deli.

Heard about the deli through social media and just had to give it a shot and I was not disappointed. This place exudes “family” as a deli. The rabbi is extremely sweet and just an amazing person that truly cares about the people he is interacting with. Was able to chat with him while the order was being prepared and was told more about the deli itself. My wife and I cannot wait to keep returning to try the rest of their menu.

Holy cow this is some great, high quality food. Beautiful ambience, and plenty of great classic deli options. Can't hype this place up enough. You gotta go!!!
