Norwood Grill - Des Moines

Don’t know what going on with the food over there but got french fries that were cold hot sausage sandwich was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted on it and then you called to complain about it and get someone that’s very rude. The service is not very good over there anymore.

Definitely not the best place to go for food unless you like your food raw. Not to mention the bartender can't make any drink you ask for. When I did get a drink it came in a dirty glass. The bathrooms were dirty and it smelled like sewer throughout the whole place.

Went there for their famous hot sausage sandwich and had a long nasty strand of hair in my sandwich. When I told the bartender she got an attitude and snatched my food from in front of me. Only gave 1 star because 0 wasn't an option.

Damn fine Italian sausage sandwich! Comes with mustard, pickles, onion. Try it with marinara, cheese and pepper rings or jalapeños.

Run don’t walk to Norwood Inn! What an amazing Hot Sausage Sandwich and Fries. Friendly service, warm and clean place on our city’s East Side!! Check them out!
