Potbelly - Des Moines

Not only was the food delicious and made quickly, but the service was some of the best I've ever had. This is an all-star team that goes above and beyond to meet their patrons' needs. I had an absolutely wonderful visit!

First time I've ever had Potbelly. The sandwich (Mediterranean on flatbread) was good. But the service was exceptional. Even on a busy afternoon, every single person working was kind and friendly, going out of their way to help everyone have a good experience. If this was my crew, I'd be proud of them!

Casual looking place with a calm, chill atnosphere and good staff. Decent tasting chicken pot pie soup and sandwiches, but nothing too crazy or impressive. 17-ish dollars for a small sandwich and a cup of soup, could be pricey for some however.

Sandwich was awful today. Chicken salad had too much pepper in it and the chicken was very fatty. All around wasn't a good sandwich today. Maybe a one off because they're usually so good

Customer service was the worst I've had in a very long time. NEVER left a food place legitimately pissed off. The older woman working was SO rude. Rolled her eyes at me and her tone was extremely disrespectful. There were like 8 people working back there and I wasn't going to leave a tip bc of her but thought it wasn't fair to the other workers. Also you need to ask your customers questions about what they want. Especially if they've never been to a pot belly before. Don't just stand there in silence. I'm a server so Im very understanding about food service workers being stressed out from it being busy but never have I disrespected a customer like that.
