Tasty Tacos - Des Moines

This is the best location since they closed the one on Douglas in Beaverdale. It's definitely a local favorite, although many people feel it isn't quite what it used to be. There's a lot of hype around this place! I've been going for years, and I have to admit it isn't the same as it was when I was a kid... but I'm still a loyal customer. I really enjoy the original flour taco and the fantastic chicken enchilada, which I think is absolutely delicious!

Wow, these might be the best tacos I've ever had in the country! I decided to try them after seeing they were voted the Best Tacos, and I was absolutely not disappointed. The fluffy flour tortillas were outstanding. The homemade chips and guacamole were both fantastic, too. I sampled the chicken, steak, and pork, and all of them were delicious. Even the salsa is better than anywhere else I’ve tasted!

I stop by this restaurant every time I'm in or passing through Des Moines! It's a local favorite and a hotspot that I've loved for years. Nothing else compares!

Fantastic meal for a great price. Can?t go wrong with 2 original flour tacos but make sure you try the queso, too! This location is great because it?s right near the Capitol, it?s a true melting pot of Des Moines!

A local must-try! If you're visiting Des Moines, you have to check this place out. The Tasty Taco is a delicious deep-fried flour tortilla filled with seasoned beef, salad, and shredded cheese. The beef enchiladas are also excellent. We also sampled the flour nachos with queso, and they were both fantastic. Definitely worth a return visit!
