And he stared at me and rudely said no, you 're wrong. i don 't forget, it is late. I will check it for you .My meal was served on a broken disk also.We saw a lot of good reviews on google so we were so happy to visit. But the smell, the atmosphere and the rude server ruined our vacation night.
I got the California roll. the Philadelphia rolls, and the fried rice with beef and chicken. The rolls were really really bad, the rice was hard and the rolls tasted dry and awful. The rice barely had any chicken and beef in it.
Me and my husband have been going here for years and we are never disappointed. The best sushi in all of the Des Moines region, we have not found any Ankeny spots that are even close in comparison since moving. We always go the distance as it’s a tastebud explosion each time. Everything I have ever gotten has always been delicious! I am originally from Seattle WA and it is better than some sushi spots I have tried there. Our favorite items include:Des Moines Love and Hibiscus drink (yummy cocktails)Spicy Edamame (garlicky goodness)Koni salad (imitation crab heaven)Crab Rangoons (the best Rangoon's I’ve had)Fried Rice (So buttery good)Fuji Yama (the best speciality roll with fried shrimp on top, you won’t regret)King Crab Roll (if you liked fried rolls, this is it)VIP Roll (reminds me of a seared salmon but in the form of a tuna roll, smoky taste)Green tea crème brûlée (the dish is sparkling clean after I’m done)
Had a good time with my date, only thing is the two seater table we were sat at was a bit small.
We ordered Red curry with chicken but it was loaded with asparagus, little to no chicken and hardly any curry in it.It felt like we were eating asparagus salad.
