Mcdonald's - Des Plaines

I initially had a strong negative impression of this location due to past service issues. However, during my last few visits, I've experienced exceptional service from everyone. A special shoutout to Daniel at the drive-thru for his excellent work!

The first "Ray McDonald" is an impressive sight to behold! McDonald's Corporation is a global American fast food chain that was established in 1940 by Richard and Maurice McDonald in San Bernardino, California. They originally started as a hamburger stand before transforming into a franchise, introducing the iconic golden arches logo in 1953 at a location in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1955, Ray Kroc (1902-1984), a businessman, joined the company as a franchise agent and eventually purchased the McDonald brothers' chain. McDonald's was previously headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, but in June 2018, the global headquarters was relocated to Chicago.

The staff here are always very friendly and consistently get my order right.

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Poor quality of food from the chicken nuggets that tasted like they were five or six hours old and weren't even cooked completely to begin with, and were not even warm, to the dirtiness of the lobby, the cold frie. I could go on and on but it's a waste of my time. Karis management who runs this store doesn't care I've called and complained to them several times and nothing has changed and they never called me back either.

This is the worst store I have ever been to not open for walk up service poorly set up drive thru have cars coming in from two directions and it takes forever I sat 25 minutes one day for coffee and sandwich have now switched to Duncan down the street sandwich not as good but coffees better and I was out in less than McDonald's
