This was frustrating considering I already chose what to eat, only to find out it did not exist. Our server was great, no issue there. The food was fine-nothing to write home about. We started with cheesy tots and cheese curds for appetizers. The curds were pretty bland. My friend and I split two entrees. We got the pesto pasta and the chopped salad. The chicken is the pasta was not appetizing and the pesto was alright. We asked to add chicken and avocado to the salad, and remove the bacon. We got the chicken, but that was it. And the price reflected an addition of the avocado we did not receive $25 total for this salad). My friend ordered the yum yum salad that is supposed to come with chicken, but it was missing. Without protein, that salad is definitely not worth $17. The server adjusted our bill for us at least. The food looks better than it tastes. The prices are congruent with Rosemont, not the food. I won't be back.
This is a cute little pub located in the Rosemont Area near the airport and outlet shopping. On the weekend you can catch live music on the sound stage. We tried the Park Tavern for lunch and it was decent. It's a cute beer, pub, with the standard tacos, burgers, fries, and wings and a few scrumptious extras. I had the mahi-mahi sandwich, brussel sprouts and wine. Our sandwiches were missing a few key toppings like lettuce, tomato, pickle etc. but the server quickly rectified the situation. The service was really nice. Whether you sit inside or outside either way you're in for a treat with a great view of the plaza and stage. The Rosemont plaza has many food options for any picky pallet and the Park Tavern was a good place to start. #enjoygoodpeople
Really enjoyed my meal at Park Tavern. Appreciated the prompt service by staff! Loved everything I ordered. No complaints about my dining experience. After 9 it turns into a bar with dancing, which was fine since we were finishing our meal. Went with my mom and we were still able to talk.
The food and service here were both a hugely pleasant surprise. Not that I had low expectations, but if you show up on a crowded weekend night when half the restaurant is reserved for an event and wind up sitting at the bar, you might not expect a fun, relaxed meal off the regular menu. However, at Park Tavern, that's what you'll get. The bartender who took orders and delivered the food was friendly and pretty quick, considering she was juggling a packed bar. And the food was awesome. Their avocado toast is epic; the fries that came with it were top-notch. And I don't even like fries usually. The ambience here is very upscale sports bar, with banks of televisions and lots of high-top tables. But it's not too loud to have a conversation, and the lighting and decor are tasteful. Would gladly return.
Friend in town staying nearby hotel. Had to meetup for lunch in this cute area. Choose Park Tavern because of diverse menu: fish, pasta, burgers and salad. It was a beautiful day out si we sat on the patio. Our server Lauren was really good at making conversation and geting our specifics down. My friend is diary free so they were able to adhere to her dietary restitution. We opted for wine. I got Prosecco and glass of Cabernet. They were reasonably priced for the area at $12. We ordered brussel sprouts for appetizers and they were yummy. For lunch we both enjoyed the blackend Mahi Mahi sandwich. The sandwich was good but bare bones. They forgot to put any vegetables on my sandwich. Lauren was able to remedy that with a side plate of Lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. This made my sandwich reallt tasty. The mahi mahi was grilled just right and portion size good. All in all very good experience.
