Basebianca Gelateria Pasticceria

After 3 weeks in Italy we ended up at this iceamcream parlour. In 3 weeks we have seen many gelateria's, none worth a review. But than none can match this one. The icecream was just excellent in every sense. Very delicate, must be made with love. For me a must visit just outside the tourist area.

Used to be part of the chain Gelateria La Romana. Now new name, different recipes, and, unfortunately, not as great. If you are around Lago di Garda, and would like to taste a truly amazing gelato travel to Salo, or Peschiera del Garda.

This is the best ice cream shop we found during our holiday in Italy. It is spotlessly clean. The flavours are diverse and creative. Natural ingredients are used and you can taste the difference. Friendly service, reasonably priced. We had many return trips.

Nestled just behind the Cathedral. No fuss. Nice and clean. Great variety of Ice Creams listed. I enjoyed my Milkshake.
