Cabana Cafe - Destin

We were in Ariel Dunes so location was perfect for us. The food was average. Drinks were good. Had a star for the fact that one day at lunch we ordered a pizza and were not made aware only 30 minutes after the order that their dough was not digested enough to make a pizza for us and we had to reorder.

We ate in the Cabana Cafe on a whim during the stay in Destin for the week. We were so happy with the very friendly, smiling service of Shevelle. She took care of us. The ambience was fun and full of happy moods. There were many families around us and a menu to suit all taste buds. I ordered the fetters Alfredo with chicken. The Alfredo was so incredibly creamy and delectable and the chicken had great taste. My husband ordered the fried fish. He said the dough tasted light and the fish tasted almost like chicken with a very mild fish taste. It didn't taste heavy or oily. We enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend this restaurant for all ages and palates.

We originally went there for live music, but it was only from 46:00 on Thursday. We sat behind the bar. It was so busy that the service was initially a little slow. The crab cutter was excellent, but we had the bowl vs cup. It didn't leave much room for the pizza that was very good. A little too full for my taste. Also a very diverse menu. Would go back and try other articles. Call first if you want to coordinate live music times!

Cabana The Cafe has served our wedding last week for 130 people in an offsite location. We still get compliments about the food, which was fantastic! The staff went beyond and beyond, and honestly once they were hired, stress was greatly reduced. Thank you. Wayne for being brilliant!
