Cypress Lakes Country Club - Destrehan

Had a little golf outing with some buddies at cypress lakes. Green fee was around 60$ which was way over priced for the course conditions. They have recently re did the drains around the course so there are bare spots on a few selected holes. We played closest to the pin on all par 3’s and was questionable on almost all of them due to the fringe and green looking almost identical. Had clovers and crabgrass growing all over and when putting the ball will often take a few bunny hops before reaching its final destination. I drank plenty of beer so it made it mostly amusing, but for 60$ is not worth itmore in the 30-35 buckaroo range. Enjoy and happy outing.

Great course that isn’t too . Well maintained and challenging with water hazards on roughly 17 of the 18 holes.

Great club with a spacious pool and excellent tennis facilities. The golf course fairways are in pristine condition, but the greens, although consistent, are a bit brown and quite slow. Overall, the service and quality were impressive!
