Cafe Restaurant Zum Jümmesee - Detern

Well, what to write, the service was very different:Junge People were served at the table, people with Rollator should get themselves something at the counter. Service power didn't know where the tables stand, although all were numbered. We just had coffee and cake. The cake was baked, that gives a small plus, otherwise unfortunately disappointing.

For the first time in the cafe. First impression was very good. My friend and I also got a nice seat with a view of the lake. Service personnel are friendly. And the evening buffet looked good, will be tested next.

Have been there a few times now. There are various theme buffets built in the restaurant, a delicious breakfast offer and very delicious cakes. The selection is in a refrigerator and is brought to the table. The restaurant is located with a kiosk on a swimming lake with a campsite. Very idyllic location. Unfortunately it is very warm in the summer, especially in the upper area. Simply try out, pictures and information are available on the homepage.

On Good Friday we took part in the fish buffet with a group of friends and were very pleased with the plentiful offer .Even for not so fish lovers there were offers.The service was friendly and the ambience good .We will definitely come again 2018

We were always at the Café-Restaurant Zum Jümmesee . You can sit very nicely, eat coffee and cakes, we were not there for dinner. The service is very nice and attentive. The location at the lake very nice. The cake delicious, unfortunately not in a refrigerator. The campsite borders directly to the restaurant, in summer there is probably a lot of going on, we always arrive in the quiet season. We like the place in principle. But at the ambience it was huge. The restoration area on the ground floor presents itself rather in the canteen look, the furniture seems still left out of the 70s or 80s, especially the chairs. Anyone entering the upper floor has a chance to have a nice window, but unfortunately also a view of wood panelled (scrow) ceilings, which have not seen a fresh paint any more. Bretter is already releasing the roof panel windows. The plants don't have it easily up there, they're unfortunately also looked at. However, the plastic flowers act very fresh, optically at least. I had the opportunity to admire one of the most creative ceiling lighting techniques I have ever seen in my gastronomic career. Unfortunately but visually no eye-catcher. Since where the old lamps were, the paint is even better off than around it. Somehow, the whole high-seat solution looks like itself. Very cozy. With little color and a good electrician, you could quite upgrade the upper floor.
