Cliff Bell's - Detroit

Beautiful and atmospheric bar with good drinks and super service.

We unfortunately had a bad night here at Cliff Bells. Let me start with the positives. The gentleman who sat us was friendly and funny. He sat us at what he considered the best table for the performance. The venue itself was gorgeous. There is a massive bar and a lot of seating. The band was good, especially the trumpet player from Canada. Now the cons. The food was OK. Nothing to write home about. The show started 45 minutes late. Our waitress forgot about us. We had to ask another waitress multiple times for drinks, to clear the table, water, and the check. Our waitress disappeared for the majority of the show. It was very unfortunate as we were looking forward to enjoy dinner and a show.

Always such a good atmosphere and vibe. Jazz is always swinging. Food is great just a limited menu. Would love to see a rotating menu but then what they do they do well. Staff is triple A.

Ambiance atmosphere They accommodated a last minute change during jazz festival. Loved our server, Jeanetta she was a delight, and the beef short ribs are divine.

Another great evening here. read the layers and look at the history of this place and the responsible one. the bar employees mix like art and serve with a smile and a great story. music and artists are like no other. to sit, relax, enjoy a drink and watch how their artistry live in front of them is simply the best when in detroit, time to visit cliff Bell’s.
