D.prime Steakhouse - Detroit

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant for our anniversary. Initially, we were a bit daunted by the prices, but it turned out to be worth every penny. Every dish we tried was fantastic, and the service was exceptional—make sure to ask for Liz! The drinks were also delightful. Although they were fully booked two weeks in advance, I was able to secure a reservation when I booked our hotel. I highly recommend this place, but be prepared to spend some money.

We had to wait a bit for service, but once we were attended to, both the food and service were excellent. The filet was exceptionally tender, and the accompanying zip sauce was fantastic. One of my friends ordered the lobster tail and mentioned it was very good. A few others had the Tomahawk steak and raved about how outstanding it was. The creme brulee was incredible! I would definitely return.

I dined at this restaurant for the first time last night. My initial steak was overcooked, but when I sent it back, the replacement was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were fantastic, and the shrimp cocktail was also very good. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend making reservations.

Exceptional birthday dinner for my mother. They were accommodating and the service was wonderful. Every steak was perfect. Had crab cakes, shrimp flambé, filet Oscar, ribeyes, strips, truffle mac n cheese etc. Our server was so attentive and made my mom feel so special. If I had one complaint it would be the terrible customer service in the hotel and with the casino hosts trying to get someone to call or email back or even respond to inquiries. Our reservation was made well in advance and the follow up by the host was terrible. Had to physically go there to get anyone to talk to us. The hostesses were like armed guards and very rude to people without reservations. Other than that a perfect evening.

Atmosphere is chill laid back vibe. Our server Liz an the drinks are the only reason for 3 stars. Bread platter was cold.. steaks very overly seasoned broccoli cold an stiff mash was salty af mac an cheese was bland. We did express how we did not enjoy anything. However service was wonderful , yet will not return at all. Too many other better options. Your kitchen is clearly not in order.
