Urban Bean Co. - Detroit

This cozy little coffee shop may feel a bit cramped, but it boasts a lovely atmosphere and a unique two-story layout. They offer some interesting specialty coffee options to try. The coffee is of good quality and is prepared without any unnecessary embellishments, like foam art. I was able to find a nice table near one of the many outlets, which allowed me to work for several hours. The music was somewhat louder than I prefer, but it didn’t reach a level where it interfered with phone conversations.

This is a wonderful, cozy coffee bar. The barista was incredibly friendly and even informed me of the refill price for my regular reusable cup (which is fine, similar to Starbucks). The drip coffee was excellent. Be sure to head upstairs for a fantastic view!

The music is lovely, the staff are wonderful, and you must try the Green Fairie iced latte!

Cool spot. Pretty sure they were there before Detroit got cool. They're original. Coffee was good and the DJ stand up is cool.

I came in to escape the rain and sit up high and watch the city slowly go by (it's New Year's eve). The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got good string coffee and enjoyed my time here.
