Phalika's Thai Food - Devon

Are here a ton when I worked in Devon. Now I only go back occasionally just to eat here. The owner is the kindest sweetest lady and always remembers me even though my visits have become infrequent. Best food and worth the drive.

I usually stop in for the Thai food. Always good.Today I went in for the Fish and Chips. I got there 10 minutes before they were to open (1100 am)I was on chat with another company, so I didn 't mind waiting a bit. However, after 11 am came and went, I phoned the restaurant to check if they were opening. No reply, but I did leave a message that I was outside of their restaurant and have been so for half an hour.The restaurant finally opened 1 hour 15 minutes later than their posted hours.I asked the young feller who took my order what time they open. He told me 11. I mentioned I 'd been sitting in my vehicle for over an hour for them to open. No apologies. He said, Yeah, we opened late today. Really, I hadn 't noticed.So, not impressed by that attitude.Food is always good, but I am irritated by that poor attitude.

Great food, better than many thai food in Edmonton in our opinion! Reasonable prices and they have ice cream!!!

Stopped for ice cream after our bike ride by the river, service was great, prices were very reasonable and servings portions were perfect!
