Highway Treat Dodi - Dewas

I have stopped thrice at this decent highway restaurant enroute from Bhopal to Indore and vice versa. Located just at the right place for a quick bite or a cup of tea. It is a self service place and has piping hot food. The washrooms are clean and adequate. Overall just the place to have a quick cuppa or a bite at extremely reasonable prices. Have decided to stop at this place in the future too.

Its clean and conveniently located. The washrooms are surprisingly clean. Avoid the greasy snacks if you are not used to it. The Inidan style tea (lots of milk and sugar) is typical.

The highway treat is managed by Madhya Pradesh tourism and is located on highway 100 kms from Indore on indore bhopal route. It's a perfect spot for mid journey break for travellers on indore bhopal highway. It offers all kind of snacks , food and beverage but most popular items are tea, coffee , Samosa , Sandwitch and poha. Also cold drinks , ice cream , mineral water etc are available here. The quality of snacks is good here with very prompt service but for complete meal I do not find the offerings good as the lunch or dinner quality is not to my taste. The area has washrooms and parking. Also rooms have been constructed by MPT nearby in a motel and one can stay here overnight . The place offers food on prepaid token basis. There is space to sit and to have some quick bite standing too. It's a self service spot. If you want a quick snack with tasty tea this place is apt for you ......

On the way from Ujjain to Bhopal through Dewas, almost after 95 Km and with the same distance to reach to Bhopal, on the right you find a small parallel diversion to this complex. The place is a good stopover while travelling between Ujjain and Bhopal. The toilets are clean as well. The snacks and tea are good and tasty. After a quick refreshing stop, you can continue the journey.

Midway to Ujjain from Bhopal. we rested for breakfast. Taste was just about ok. whatever you take. It had toilets, tourism information centre, swings for kids. Mrignayni Govt. MP enterprise with attendent least bothered for sales. Service was ok.
