Hammerheads - Dewey Beach

My husband and I went to Hammerheads today for a late lunch. This was the first time we’ve been there and it absolutely did NOT disappoint! The food was amazing and our server/bartender Jen was Phenomenal! Great food and awesome service!

Anyplace that serves tots over fries is okay in my book. They also serve chicken poppers (nuggets), so the kids were happy too. A nice draft list featuring local micros as well as the usual macro offerings. They offer bottles and cans and a full bar too. I went with the crab cake sandwich which I recommend to anyone who likes seafood. All sandwiches are served with a bag of chips as a side, but you can upgrade to tots for an upcharge.

Hammerheads never disappoints. The staff is unusually friendly and great to talk with. The wings are always well done but not too crispy. It's a go-to in Dewey for sure.

My family and I had such a great experience here for lunch. Even with the limited menu , there was plenty of choices! We ordered numerous apps to share, along with drinks and everything was amazing, including our server. The old bay wings were the best I have ever had. The fresh oysters, crab soup and the crab taters were all awesome! We will definitely be adding this place to our necessary places to eat at when we do our yearly trip to Rehoboth!
