We just ordered takeout so it is a little hard to rate someone taking your money to pay for your order. My husband and I had the burnt ends and we were not impressed but the baked beans were good.
Nothing special. Meat is dry, beans are from a can and I knew from the neon yellow colored potato salad, I was only gonna taste mustard..I was right. There were two tables that were still cluttered from plates with quite a bit of food on them. Guess those customers didn't enjoy their meals either.
Great pulled pork sandwich. Very tender and the sauce was good too. Their coleslaw was chunky and not my favorite style but good nonetheless.
After the car show I was hungry and decided to try bobbyQ. I sat down at a table and a voice from the other side of the restaurant said I needed to come up to the front counter to place my order. Kinda like McDonald's. Ok, I guess there's no waitress here. I ordered the expensive $20 brisket meal. I looked around and there was only to young girls working here. Maybe teenagers, not impressive. My plate came out on some kinda aluminum tray similar to what you get in prison. The brisket was sliced as I ordered. What was strange for a smoked brisket was the pink smoke ring was missing. Did they just oven bake it and at the last .30 min throw it in the smoker to get a thin bark. If it wasn't for the bbq sauce I don't think I could of eaten it. The 2 sides was lacking in size maybe a couple spoonfuls in a small dish. Baked beans and coleslaw with a piece of toast.
