Speakeasy - Dijon

Another nice dinner in Dijon. They had a really good wine card so we decided for a bottle of burgundy red for our dinner. With one menu (boeuf bourguignon) and the risotto we made a good choice. Service was a bit slow. In total it...was a bit overpriced because they couldn’t hold up to what was promised. Anyway we had a really great evening there.

Amazing food really delicious! Nice atmosphere and like a little Paris. Staff excellent both times we were here in 2 days. Second time the waiter was especially service minded.

If you are served uncooked seafood (not undercooked, but not boiled) without apologies, their cup is tee, then they immediately go to speakeasy.

We ate at the Speakeasy following a recommendation from my son who lives in the city. It was very busy on an early Saturday evening so I would recommend booking. There were people waiting to get in when we left. There was a good choice...of dishes and quality was excellent. Service was fast paced despite it being very busy and the waitress apologised for a short delay when they were overwhelmed by people looking for a table. We would probably prefer somewhere a little quieter but it is obviously busy for a reason and we could not complain about cost or quality.

The food was not bad, but one of our desserts [the speciality pave bourgingnon) was inedible you couldn’t even get a fork into it. However they still wanted to charge us for it and told us we were ‘not cool’ when we refused to...pay for it.
