This came across as quite an upmarket place with a rather anticlimax sequence of events! Had quite a variety of dishes out here, but had to wait for quite some time for them to arrive and served a bit too cold (less hot for an asian dish), for me and my guests' liking! The pad thai noodles specifically can be a bit more cooked, I feel! The ambience is quite electric with the kind of outside seating and inside the narrow lanes! Chicken Katsu was good as well!
We visited on a cold November night; there were almost no people on the streets old city thanks to the rain and and the sea breeze. The restaurant was empty, and we were the only commensals by eight pm though two more tables filled up after that. We ordered two beers and sparkling wine (prosecco), some appetizers, and three main dishes. The food was perfect, rich, warm, and tasty. I found it well-priced for the quality. If anything, we are too much, but man, it was so worth it.
We waited 15 minutes to be seated and we seated ourselves in the end. After that we waited 20 minutes to be served. No one came. We left. 35 minutes without waiter. 35 minutes no one said ‘dobar dan’. Horrible! This is not the first time to be treated like this in Maguro but it is surely the last since we will never set foot there again.
Food is good enough, but served cold (kind of warm). Would prefer really warm enough.
