During my stay this year, I visited Brinker several times, sometimes alone, sometimes with relatives, once with a larger group. The family business maintains direct and open access to the guest and the Rhine-Westphalia soul always passes through. Tacheles are already talking and you don't take a hand in your mouth. The decor is modern and cozy, with a certain lounge character, almost like in your own living room or dining room: dark halls, well maintained furniture, very cozy seating furniture and spacious window fronts. I was usually a guest for breakfast or brunch and used one of the combination offers. I find the vegetarian breakfast (4 corners of cheese, 3 slices of brie cheese, 1 butter, 1 serving of fresh cheese, 1 jam, 1 multi-grain rolls, 1 ham, 1 large coffee) which is saturated for many hours. However, I was often overwhelmed with the self-service: all parts fit only urged on a tray that is difficult to balance. You really have to go twice. I liked the changing tasting possibilities of seasonal specialties or special promotions, like last stollen, fruit bread and a multi-grain bread. This is usually due to an arrangement for self-cutting and costing – with the sad effect that some customers only take a coffee and otherwise eat on the free offer or even pack it for home, as I observed at the side table. The noise level is sometimes difficult to bear. In the late morning, all places are occupied, like women's gorges, the loud palavern. The high space throws the sound back unprotected and you have no retreat. Otherwise I felt quite comfortable with Brinker and felt that all products are fresh and crisp. The coffee is served in high narrow cups, with attractive crema and strong taste. You can usually choose among two sizes, which I find quite pleasant. As a rule, the coffee comes from aromatic highland beans. I would like to mention the ubiquitous cleanliness, despite the high visitor frequency and the high throughput rate. The tables always worked well, the place always radiated a clean character.
