A must-visit for anyone in Guwahati, the restaurant also boasts excellent service.

I have been in Guwahati for over 25 years, and whenever my family or extended family go out for lunch or dinner, our top choice is Gopal. I have seen and visited this place since it was in an old house with old furniture and poorly dressed staff. However, the food was always delicious and flavorsome, which was a rarity in Guwahati at that time. After the renovation, it has transformed into a well-air-conditioned restaurant with the same high-quality food at a reasonable price. It remains the best vegetarian restaurant in this region of the country.

Gopal is one of the wonderfully fine din family restaurant in guwahati. eat with a Marwadi touch. the service is up to the brand, the ambiente is good eating is the best. kadhai panner dal fry is super. after eating gulab jamun is required in gopal....advance booking if they do not want to wait even in weekdays.

Each time I dine at this restaurant, I am surprised by how consistently they are able to deliver the same delicious flavors year after year. I highly recommend making reservations ahead of time, especially on weekdays.

A very good vegetarian restaurant located in one of the side lanes of main Marwari market. It was very difficult to locate the restaurant in a busy trading market. Food served is traditional which was a mix of assamese and marwari cuisine. Any person visiting Guwahati should atleast once visit this place. Service in the restaurant is good.
