Hot Pot - Dishpur

After our initial visit, we found ourselves going to this restaurant most evenings because it was conveniently located within walking distance from our hotel. The food was consistently fresh, freshly cooked, and delicious. The momos were a standout dish. One night, the chef prepared a fantastic prawn dish for us, although it seemed to be a special and not always on the menu. The chicken dishes were also excellent. The service was top-notch. The restaurant seemed to attract a younger crowd, and as a couple in our 60s, we stood out. However, the other diners were friendly and many of them took the time to chat with us and recommend places to visit in Assam. I would not hesitate to return to this restaurant anytime.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent. I highly recommend trying the North East Pork curry or the delicious chicken wings, both are a great value for the price.

This is definitely a fantastic place to have dinner in Guwahati. The Thai green and red curry were outstanding. I wish I could stay longer in town to visit again!

I was a bit surprised to read for many mixed reviews about this place and reviews are so highly angular. I will tell you my experience . I have been to this place thrice. As you enter the aroma to good Chinese food invites you . You feel comfortable and happy to have made the right choice. I have so far tried the normal dishes without being too adventurous - fried rice , garlic chicken, prawn garlic and monos. They were simple , fresh and aromatic. Definitely a place worth recommending. However the Owner / Chef can do a bit of training to his waiters/crew in better customer handling.
