This café, one of the oldest in Assam, used to serve delicious fast food many decades ago. The menu was heavily influenced by Bengali snacks and sweets. It was a popular hangout spot for students in the 1980s, who would gather in the evenings for casual chats and political debates. The meat curry served with lusi (a type of bread similar to Puri) was a must-try dish.
This restaurant brings back fond memories of my college days. They serve high-quality sweets and snacks, with excellent samosas and kachoris. I love visiting this place.
