The Restaurant at Cavas Wine Lodge

We came here for a late lunch and had the restaurant for ourselves. Excellent wine pairing with the food, the steak and the Vegetarian pasta were both excellent. A dream. Great and super friendly service! After lunch, we went for a little walk in the beautiful garden/vineyard and the waiter showed us also the wine cellar that can be booked for private events.

The menu seems short for the tasting part, but they have a bigger 24 hours menu that is very complete! The food is amazing!

We had lunch at this restaurant in July 2016, everyting was perfect, the views of the vineyards and the Andes will invite you to stay longer, the food is amazing and their own wines are hard to beat!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Cavas and enjoyed the Restaurant more than 10 times in total. It never got tiring as the menu changed every day, and we got to try a wide range of local cuisine which we were hoping to do - especially asado. The Chef is methodical about selecting only local and fresh ingredients, which was a wonderful nod to the beautiful and unique ecosystem around Mendoza. A few notes:- Even if we arrived late for breakfast, the restaurant wouldn't hesitate to serve us breakfast food.- When we arrived my wife had a a cold and the restaurant created a custom soup & wellness package for us that turned her around quickly- We didn't get to do the cooking class but heard great things about it from other guests

We stopped by here for a visit and a late lunch and we were extremely impressed with every detail and the attention that was given to us. We were not staying at the Lodge and the staff were remarkably helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had delicious empanadas and a plate of cheeses and meats while we sipped a glass of wine that was offered to us as we entered the lodge. The staff (Sabrina and Barbara) were wonderful, extremely attentive and even gave us a tour of the lodge. It was truly a memorable experience and we would consider staying there if we return to Mendoza.
