Food is decent. Quality of food is well maintained as per standards, but the variety of food, specially if you're veggie or vegan is super shrinked. Variety in general is less, quite small menu. Service is slow. But staff are warm and friendly, the Manager was open to suggestions and improvements. We tried their Dal Makhni and Chicken Biryani and highly recommend it! Both were tasty. But the veg Thali we tried was sad, not very flavorful or indulgent. I think they have lot to improve on, both on food and service. But the staff was kind, understanding and courteous and even complimented us with some pastries as we were there to celebrate an anniversary occasion.

The first signature restaurant I tried was in the souq wagif several years ago. So while I was staying in crowne plaza decided to check it out. So it’s a fine dining Indian restaurant owned by the famous chef Sanjeev Kapoor. They had a special thali offer for the month so gave it a try. The food quality was great as expected of a fine dining joint but surprisingly they didn’t offer us any starters while we waited for our food. No papads or papdi nothing. When the thali arrived we expected to have some papads but none with the meal either which was dampener especially when one os paying QAR 110 for a thali one expects it to be perfect. Then the thali was not topped up as is the case with most thalis. We were offered more rice when we mention that the rice portion was too small (see the picture). To be fair the butter chicken and the mutton were very tasty though the portions were very tiny as is the case with thali portions. Overall it was nice but was it value for money maybe not.
