Well we got there on a Saturday night at 7:30 and the place was busy and the hostess asked if we had a reservation . Which we said no . They did have one table open. The menu has a good variety of tapas style dishes but limited on a meal for one person . We ordered Tuna poke , garlic fried rice, small order of bacon fries, cauliflower wings for 2 people . The food came hot . The tuna poke was fresh and tasty but no rice . The garlic fried was crispy and flavourful . The bacon fries were crispy and tasteful. The pork bacon was crispy thick chunks . The cauliflower wings were great . Cauliflower wings had a light batter crispy with an interesting thai sauce. The food was great but needed extra sauce. The only negative aspect was the service . Since they are new they are working out the kinks . The staff was very friendly and had a good attitude -which made up for service . We ended our meal with French toast pound cake with ice cream topped off with Nutella . Which was great. Kale Bacon is sure a hit and we will be back .
Very disorganized. Food was meh...... service was very slow and when we finally got our food we were only 2), they got my order wrong. They were sold out of a few key dishes it was Friday at 1pm). The fries however, are really really good. It's quite pricey for what you get. I won't be back and don't recommend it.
I wish this place met my expectations but it fell behind. Obviously whenever there's a new place in the West Island, there's always the hope that it'll be a new great place that will cement its place. I am giving this place 3/5 stars because the interior is beautiful and the service is great too. The food however was very underwhelming, especially after ordering what we were told were the specialties. The bang bang noodles were extremely under seasoned, didn't taste like anything. The Thai chicken was ok, didn't see what was Thai about it, once again, was very light in seasoning. The okonomiyaki fries were the showcase of our meal but I mean that's also hard to mess up. Not sure if I'll be back here, if I do I'm definitely trying out something else.
Hubby and I finally tried out this place and I have to say, it was quite a nice surprise! They offered really unique dishes and it had a nice cozy vibe. Extra points for the 80s music! We had ordered the kale Caesar to share; for our mains we had the shish taouk and Korean fried chicken KFC). Service was a tad slow considering when we arrived there was another couple there. We waited almost 25 minutes for our food to arrive. We had to ask the server to make it faster as we were on our lunch. break. Our friendly server gave us complimentary soup which was vegetarian tom yum. It was plain just broth with some veggies) but we were grateful to have something to eat, keep our bellies warm. The kale salad was the best dish IMO. It was perfectly dressed, and the fried capers added a nice salty pop to it. It was quite substantial, too. Had we known we would've just ordered the salad and the KFC. The KFC was huge! We only ate two pieces of chicken and brought the rest home it came with three pieces). The chicken pieces were crunchy yet nicely glazed with the sweet and spicy sauce. The coleslaw was very tasty, too! I would definitely order both dishes again. The shish taouk plate was a bit disappointing. For the price $16), it was quite small. It came with some pieces of grilled chicken, hummus and half a pita. All the elements were good but the portion was small; doesn't look like a main plate. We wanted to try the sliders but they weren't available that day. Their menu looks interesting so we will be going back again soon.
This is a new restaurant located in the west island , the menu is definitely something new and exciting. The first time we went we had an amazing time , the staff was beyond accommodating and very excited to be working there! And I think that is so Important! They have an open kitchen concept and who doesn't love that?! Its very clean and well decorated. The food.. I dont even know where to start. The first time we went we had a bunch of different things and the ones that really stuck with me was the thai jumbo shrimps , the kale salad the thai chicken! It's what made me come back! And this time around we tried the short rib and that was out of this world!! , the drink menu is also so fun however I wanted an old fashioned and they didn't have bitters BUT that didn't stop them from making the most delicious old fashioned ever! I highly recommend this place it's fun, young most importantly delicious food! They have amazing choices for vegan on their menu it's a ying yang kinda world
