Al Kalispera - DOLO

Too big, too crowded, too loud! You cannot have a conversation because all guests are speaking in high tones otherwise you cannot hear anything. Food is not remarkable. The “tagliata “ has to be srrved on a hot plate. We have been seated clise to the door and it was really cold our fault we did not booked but dinner was not a pleasure

The salmon tagliatele was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was fun and eclectic, with cloud bubbles on the ceiling and tree stumps supporting plexiglass tables and benches. Lots of cubbyholes and corners made it fun to explore. The food was fantastic, but way more than enough. I actually took away what I couldn't eat and enjoyed it the next day.

Really enjoyed my visit to Al Kalispera, very lively yet family friendly in an unlikely part of Veneto. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. I just hope its still standing after the Dolo tornado :
