Chavolitos - Dolores

Just had the most wonderful mother's lunch in Chavolitos. Service was wonderful as usual, margaritas are handmade with fresh fruit at the bar. I filled my dinner and drinks with fried ice cream for dessert... didn't want to ask anymore. Wonderful experience every time we came to Chavolito. Service is wonderful, food is always good and so fresh. So it's worth the few minutes to get there. Love this place!

My wife and I ate yesterday in Chavolitos in Dolores, first timers. We are very fussy gourmet eater! We were very happy with our meals. The quality and the portions were amazing, and the food was wonderfully authentic mexican. The service was excellent and the restaurant was super clean and beautifully designed and well maintained. This is a 5 star rare jewel of a Mexican restaurant! We're coming back... many times. Thank you. What a great time we had. I cleaned my plate, rare for me, and I swore every bite. Just by thru and had wanted some Mexican food, in the afternoon and the lunch special was still on (fajitas) could not believe how much food I got for the price, the meat was just a little hard, but extremely tasty, but most Mexican restaurant use Rock Steak and it is a little difficult, from Texas and ate have a lot of Mexican food in my 70 years I highly recommend this place, and the Sal isa has some of them! The service was great and the beer was ice cold!

Great food and service. You have a salsa bar with everything from mild to Caliente along with spices to jazz your salsa. No surcharge for chips and salsa like the joint at the other end of the city. I had the #29 and loved it.
