The guys who work in this bar are really friendly and helpful. they put their heart in their work and you see. excellent quality of food at really ragged prices. It is wonderful to review these small realities at work. recommended!

On the recommendation of our hotel reception we have taken the train that traveled in an upper floor compartment that gave us a super view into the valleys, although the windows were not very clean, from stresa to domodossola. they also asked where we came from. we followed the map round and ended on the piazza mercato, where we saw bar bertani. we sat down and the waiter came right away and asked what we wanted. we ordered two weine and were very surprised, also served with a teller of nibbles to have with the wine, i.e. small pieces of pizza, brot, sandwiches and craps. when we wanted to pay the bill, it was surprising how cheap it was. it was very pleasant to sit there as the piazza is mostly free of traffic. we hope to see again sometime.
