The restaurant had worn menus and a slightly shabby atmosphere. The menu was overly complicated for a place that primarily served burgers and ribs. The staff were friendly but in the end, the food was disappointing. The service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. It took 25 minutes for a Chicken Caesar salad and a burger to arrive, and when they did, the chips were soggy. The burger was average, the Caesar salad was basic, and we felt the prices were too high for the quality of food and the location. The restaurant offered a 15% discount as an apology for the wait, but overall, they need to improve their food and service. Talking about it is not enough - they need to offer good food and service at a reasonable price.

We were not provided with menus which caused a delay, but my girlfriend enjoyed a warm pornstar martini. We ordered a hot dog without bread, but our waiter Emily questioned our decision multiple times, which made my girlfriend uncomfortable due to her IBS triggered by bread. Despite this, the food was delicious and we would consider returning, despite the impolite waitress.

The first time i visited NYC, i was so amazed at the service and quality of food. My recent visit proved otherwise though. The service was mediocre, with the staff showing serious signs of inexperience. There seemed to be a lack of management on the dinining floor, meaning that orders were messed up more than once on our table and also on other tables as we heard across the room. I was very displeased and sent NYC a complaint email and they didn't manage to get back to me, but did manage to frequently post pictures on instagram and facebook, which agrivated me as it was clear i wasn't going to get a response and am being ignored. The first visit was great and i would have recommended it to anyone, but i am not so sure if i am willing to give this restuarant another chance, especially after the ignorance i have recieved. Overall, it is quality food for an acceptable bill, just not when service is so shocking. Maybe they were understaffed and having a bad night? I hope...
