Carnaween House - Donegal

GREAT FOOD and QUILITY INGREDIENTS I have had persian kababs all over Sydney but by miles this place has the best kababs, I also really love there customer service if there is an issue they try to fix it straight away. I am very sad that they are closing due to closure of the building but can't wait for their new location. Also a great place for business lunches and all occassions.

Terrific location with gorgeous views while dining (for about 40% of the tables). Limited menu but each item we ordered was tasty and presented well. Friendly staff. Restaurant was prepared for Covid with sanitizers everywhere. Desserts seem to be the specialties of the house.

Had a lovely lunch, delicious calamari, the lobster roll special and outstanding chips. definitely recommend especially the takeaway menu

Thanks again to Arlene and her friendly staff for another fine dining experience. Every year my wife and I visit Portnoo we look forward to eating out at Carnaween always something special. In recent weeks we've enjoyed 3 memorable and mouthwatering meals there complimented by the perfect window table with panoramic views of Portnoo beach...a stunning and scenic setting of sea and golden sand that is second to none. Arlene always delivers and never disappoints. Delicious food in a lovely location with excellent service those special holiday memories are made of this!

We visited this beautiful restaurant recently. As vegetarians myself and my girlfriend both opted for the mushroom stroganoff, which was delicious. Waiting staff were excellent and very attentive. Nothing was too much to ask. We were lucky enough to get a window seat and views were stunning. If you’re in Portnoo I would highly recommend this restaurant.
