Sophie Homy Cafe Food - Dong Hoi

We had a great experience here with ha. we missed the train and fought to find help. to the happy ha came to the rettung and spoke perfectly English. she helped us get bus tickets and even went with us to the bus stop to make sure we could get on. she also let us wait in her restaurant and we had a nice coffee and eat. a great thank you to ha for the rettung of the day

Ha directly approached us at the train station and gave us her card. Since no one in our hotel was speaking english and couldn't help us with booking trips or classes, we went to her place for breakfast. She could help us with everything and was really nice and cared a lot. We can definitely recommend her! Very nice lady and great coffee options.

Stopped in for coffee and a takeaway Bahn Mi for breakfast. Sophie is a lovely host, the coffee and Bahn Mi tasted great. Her English is fantastic and service was quick. Renovations look great.

I first came to Sophie Homy 2 years ago just before the pandemic and I returned today. Wow! What a facelift the restaurant got! Ha is still there, as kind and helpful as she ever was and the food as good as I remember it. I had new dishes: delicious chicken wings in a tasty sauce and the best French fries I had in Vietnam, cooked in oil as they should. If you like French fries, I highly recommend. I also had something new for desert: a cold sweet soup with red beans, called Che. A nice discovery suggested by Ha. If you come to Dong Hoi by train, do not miss it. If you are in Dong Hoi, it is certainly worth a visit. It is brand new, comfortable, clean and most of all welcoming and great food drinks.

We had breakfast with our kids. The breakfast (French toast and pancakes) was really good, the place is clean and they were attentive to the fact we needed to catch a train. Really warm and welcoming host.
