I selected eight pieces of sweet bread, estimating the total to be around $20. So, I was taken aback when the final bill came to $29. I went ahead and paid, but wow—I had just spent $15.99 on a Seagram's 7 before treating myself to those eight pieces of bread. This entire experience made me ponder if I should have pursued a career as a pastry baker instead of working in air conditioning service!
Outstanding customer service! The bread is absolutely delightful. Don't miss the chance to try the croissant with cajeta and nuts.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the prices are quite high. The staff is friendly and the bread is outstanding; however, this place is not affordable for most locals who aren't wealthy. I won't be coming back because of the steep prices—there are much more reasonably priced options for good bread at HEB.
This is definitely the worst location of Paris Bakery. I visited in the morning and found conchas that were from the previous day. They rarely have fresh bread, which is really disappointing. Honestly, this location should think about closing down. The Paris Bakery on 495 is far superior.
If I could, I would give this bakery no stars at all. The bread I had was hard, dry, and crumbled easily. I also tried some samples of their donuts, which were stale and tasted awful. Ultimately, I wasted $10 on just three pieces of bread.
