Tubridy's Bar Restaurant - Doonbeg

Just had dinner here tonight, cannot praise it enough. I had chowder to start and it was really good, so tasty. I had the seafood pie for main course and it was better than great, I love my food served hotter than hot and this was perfect, it arrived in the dish it was cooked in and piping hot, chock full of fish, a rich sauce and lovely seasoned potato on top, a large serving that I couldn't finish. I didn't taste my husbands food because I was too busy with my own but he had the brie and if there had been a pattern on the plate I think he'd have scraped it off while getting the last bit of sauce off the plate, there was nothing left for me to taste, he'd the burger as a main and said it was delicious, the meat was tender and tasty, the accompaniments perfect. Neither of us were able for dessert but we will be back.

Fabulous food and great setting, only wished we had gone there more than once. Staff very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, Gene Clohessy. Loved the pictures around the room especially the one of the late Sir Terry Wogan.
