Green Plate Asian Bistro - Doral

I visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch with my wife, and we tried nearly all the items on the brunch menu—each one was fantastic! The Hokkaido tartare and nippon montadito were particularly outstanding. The staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was very comfortable for dining. Plus, the prices were quite reasonable.

Now, on to the positives! The bao burgers were outstanding; we tried both the pork and the short rib, and they were delicious. The miso soup was also fantastic. I ordered a Japanese old-fashioned, and it was expertly made. For our main courses, we had pad Thai and Mongolian beef with short rib, and both were excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and had a wonderful attitude. Lastly, the spicy tuna roll was perfect.

I came to Sesame for dinner and I absolutely loved it! I hadn't been to Green Plate, their previous concept, so I can't compare to that, but I can say that I really loved Sesame! We tried several of their hot and cold appetizers as well as ramen and some cocktails. The cocktails were really creative, cute, and DELICIOUS! I loved Godzilla's Punch and would recommend that one for sure. So tasty and Instagram worthy. For appetizers, my favorites were the pork belly bao burger, and Korean fried chicken. I also really loved the Tonkotsu ramen! The decor was also awesome great vibes. Free parking in the parking lot as well! I can't wait to come back and highly recommend this spot!

We asked our friends to take us to a casual spot with good food at reasonable prices in Doral and Green Plate was the answer. All dishes were more than average portions and delivered in the taste department.

I must say, the ramen was phenomenal! The broth was packed with flavor but not overly heavy. The Korean fried chicken had a bit of spice to it, which was a little too much for my taste, but it was perfectly cooked. The sushi and salads were incredibly fresh, and you could really tell that the chef takes great care in preparing each dish. They also offer an unlimited brunch on the weekends for $35, and I definitely plan to return to try that out soon!
