La Taberna De San Roman - Doral

The restaurant has implemented social distancing, which is fantastic. It has a nice and clean appearance, and the prices are very reasonable. The food was tasty, but the wine selection was outstanding. Plus, the live music was a wonderful addition!

The staff at the bar had quite an attitude. There's a minimum $10 credit card purchase, and all I wanted was a piña colada. I planned to eat later, but after this experience, I won't be returning. If I received attitude just for ordering coffee, I can only imagine what it would be like if I ordered food.

I absolutely adore the atmosphere of this restaurant. Our server, a lovely girl from Cuba, was really nice and helpful. Based on her recommendation, we decided to try a red wine, and it was fantastic—not too dry, not too sweet. For an appetizer, we ordered a dish that resembled an egg but was filled with potatoes and sausage, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, the seafood stew rice we ordered for our main course didn't meet my expectations. The seafood lacked freshness and the rice was a bit too salty for my taste. Despite that, it’s a charming restaurant, so perhaps it was just my fault for selecting the wrong dish.
