Esquires Coffee - Dorking

The vegan breakfast I ordered was delicious and well-presented, although it was clear that the staff were under pressure, as not all the components were served at the same temperature. On a positive note, I was thrilled to discover that their chai latte was vegan, which is a rare and wonderful find. The staff were very friendly, which added to the overall experience.

I had some time to spare between appointments in Dorking and used Happy Cow to find a coffee shop to escape the rain. I discovered this fantastic place! While they don't have an extensive menu, there are plenty of vegan options to satisfy me. I enjoyed a flaky and delicious vegan Mediterranean roll, which was filled with chickpeas, along with a variety of other sweet treats. The barista mentioned that they had just received a fresh batch of vegan rolls that morning, and although they were out of the regular rolls, I hope they get more soon because they were outstanding! The coffee was the best I’ve had in Dorking, which is another plus! I can't wait to return to Dorking and try the surprisingly affordable vegan full English breakfast!

Esquires' Coffee is fantastic, and it's currently the only spot in Dorking offering a vegan breakfast. They have several vegan breakfast options and always have vegan sausages on hand, along with a delicious vegan cake. Vegan croissants aren’t displayed, but if you ask, they’ll prepare one for you.

We chose this restaurant because they offered a good selection of vegan options. After ordering at the counter, we sat down to wait. The café was quite busy at the time of our order, but it did quiet down. However, for some reason, our food took a long time to arrive, and we could hear other customers expressing their frustrations about the wait as well. The vegan breakfast we received was hearty, colorful, and well-presented, although they seemed to be under pressure since some components weren’t as hot as others. On a positive note, I was thrilled to see that their chai latte powder was vegan, which is quite rare—a big win in my book! The staff were all very friendly.

While their menu isn't extensive, they offer enough vegan options to satisfy me. I tried a vegan Mediterranean roll, which was flaky and delicious, featuring chickpeas and a variety of other vegetables with a hint of curry. The barista mentioned that they typically offer vegan sausage rolls, but they were out of them that morning and just had these rolls available. I sincerely hope they bring back the sausage rolls because these were fantastic! The coffee was the best I've had in a long time, which is another bonus. I will definitely return next time I’m in Dorking, and I might even try the surprisingly affordable vegan full English breakfast!
