Rosenberger - Dornbirn

If there is no other good restaurant close by, it is always a good opportunity to take a carbahn trip and park your car in front of one of the rosenberger highway restaurants. a very large selection of foods on their buffet tables and...good tasting of different drinks and last very clean.

It really make a road trip considerable more enjoyable for the whole family to have a good meal even when the order of the day is getting from there to here. Autobahn rest stop restaurants don't receive enough credit or attention. But after stopping at...2 before and passing on their food selection. It was a relief to stop where there was a good selection of foods to choose. And kid friendly too.

If you want to eat you will here its full of all types of food, nobody could say there wasn't anything for them to eat. We just wanted some soup and bread for a lunch break on the coach. We had two bowls of Gulaschuppe...and rolls, the soup was good and the bread was fresh. Well worth a visit, hot food bar , salad bar, cakes, sandwiches, 4 different soups and fresh fruit. I was at Rosenberg on 3rd October in the early morning. It was very early and we wanted to have breakfast on the way to Stuttgart. We were a group of forty italians, young, middle-aged and older people and not everyone spoke german. I asked...to a young girl of the staff (I remember she had some tatoos on her feet) what was there inside a cake that seemed like Apfelstrudel. I was very polite and to be more kind I asked it in German (I studied in Germany), but I had no answer. I tried to ask it also in English but still not answer. It was a so strange situation, the girl was just in front of us, she looked us with the eyes but she did not wanted to hear and answer to us. After six times the girl answered to us, but telling just ' 'IT 'S NOT APFELSTRUDEL ' ' and she went away. She was very nervous and angry, it was incredible because we were just foreign clients asking for some informations about food, we did not do anything bad to her or others in the restaurants. That girl was so unpolite and she had the same behaviour with other two girls of our group. I really cannot understand how a person like her can work in an international restaurant like Rosenberger having this attitude. And it was a pity because the other members of the staff were so polite with us, the food was really good (maybe a little expensive) and bathrooms were very clean.

Durch den regen Verkehr in Deutschland hielten wir kurz vor der Schweizer Grenze in Oesterreich. Die Verpflegung im "Rosenberger" ist gewohnt gut und eignet sich somit für eine Rast.
