Litton Lakes - Dorset

We visited the lake, it was likely warmer than the sea and had shade as its surrounded by trees. There is a lovely cafe next to the lake. Perfect spot for a bit of swimming and paddle boarding in the lake with the kids. Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Kid-friendly

We had a nice camping trip with some other families. Being able to have a fire pit was nice, and the kids loved toasting marshmallows. Using SUP's and inflatable boats on the lake was great fun. The local pub was great too. Only thing to make it a 5 star was they needed a couple more toilets, however not a reason we wouldn't go back though, as we hope to soon. Service: 5 Location: 4

1st time camping outside of festivals, Great little site, the lake is a great bonus, Pitch size is great. I wouldn't like to be there when full as only 2 toilets 2 showers. They were kept very clean showers were hot! The butcher comes around on Tuesdays Fridays for fresh meat deliveries. Shame the cafe doesn't sell milk for the site, but shops aren't too far away. Great cafe but doesn't open until 10am so be sure to have your tea coffee with you. Warden was friendly very helpful. We will be back!
