Feedback gevenEnchanted by the beautiful photos of the location and good reviews we were looking forward to a nice evening with delicious food yesterday, but unfortunately we are quite disappointed. At our table in the rear area there was neither a view of the beautiful lights in the entrance area (separated by a staircase, except a bump candle on the table was unfortunately placed on decoration no value. Funny we found that the lamps that had fallen so well on the photos looked out in our area (see different colored lamps on photo . We ordered drinks and the appetizer plate for two at the same time, the appetizer plate came quite timely, the drinks about 10 minutes later. The appetizer plate with dips and some salad was nicely prepared, but not worth €16.50. One of the salads tasted as if someone had expressed his cigarette in it, the rest was edible to tasty. When the appetizer was brought, we were advised to order the main dish right now, as it would take some time - which is completely okay with the hint! So we ordered and after approx. The first main food came 15 minutes, but unfortunately it also remained. At the LaYuba plate (Tandirkebab, Köfte, Lammspieß und Lammkotelett prepared on a tone plate with roasted potatoes, LaYuba special and yogurt sauce were exactly one ca. 5 cm large potato, a quarter tomato and a piece of paprika on the plate, otherwise only the promised 4 varieties of meat (but it was not to find a spear that were partly very dark to burnt. Tastefully the meat was fine and the red sauce was delicious. The 2nd main food came about 20 minutes after the first, so that we had eaten individually one after another (especially beautiful on Valentine's Day! . The steak was delicious, the truffle sauce for 5,50€ was certainly from a tetra pack. For the second round of drinks we waited about 20-25 minutes. The vodka Lemon came, just like a Lillet Berry before, with little to no alcohol. Unlike JEDE Cola on all neighboring tables, the Cola came in a 0.2L glass instead of a 0.33L bottle with glass extra, suggesting that the rest was used from a bottle of another guest. In addition, it was Cola light instead of Cola and the glass was dirty both from the outside and from the inside. On dessert we had no more pleasure in the store, so we ordered the invoice, which after approx. 20 minutes have still not been taken. We went to the bar and paid there. All waiters were kind to us and apologised for all delays, but obviously both they, as well as the bar and the kitchen were overwhelmed by scale. Too often someone went by, who had to speak from themselves, waits too long and the expensive food was not appropriate in quality to the price. Unfortunately, we do not come back and cannot recommend it.
My friend was with LaYuba for the first time today. We were generally satisfied with the food. I had lamb fillet, which was really very tender. My friend took a vegetarian variant, which was also tastefully very good. So we had the lentil soup that really tasted very well. Unfortunately the service was not good.. we were treated very nicely all the time, but forget about the more open. Let's get this out of the review. That could not be paid with the card, and none of us ever pointed to it is an absolute evil. Running through the city centre at 3 degrees is really not fun. Conclusion: Food was really delicious, everything else definitely needs improvement.
Outstanding food, pleasant ambience and competent service. Would recommend the restaurant any time.
We went to La Yuba Steakhouse for the first time yesterday. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and brought to our table. The ordered foods were served to us partly still hot. The meat is really the finest. It won't be the last time. We'll be back.
20:45 the whole troupe in the restaurant trudges a 12 persons of which 9 women and 3 men. The group is invited to a separate room. 21:00 a.m. a waiter is supposed to be the most in demand because he should be so good) and asks if he can be helpful. The group consists of Italian, English and German speaking people. One tries to agree briefly about the drinks. Some want to drink wine and discuss whether it is worth taking several carafes. Some order in time. Suddenly, the waiter becomes very unfriendly and says he has no time to lose and that is why he would go now. There were actually only a few minutes past and when he wanted to go, everyone had agreed and knew what they wanted to order for a wine. But he said in a very aggressive sound that he was going and coming back in 4 minutes. From there the waiter came exactly 2 times within 1.5 hours. Once to get the drinks order and once to get the order. On the occasion, he was so arrogant and protsy that we almost thought it was a joke with hidden cameras. He put the wine glasses on the table. After that it was unclear whether the American beer order was correct or wrong. When it was right, he said to us, “Tyja, had bad luck.” A friend then said in Italian “he doesn’t understand that it doesn’t matter whether he makes a mistake or not! We are not happy if he makes a mistake” and then he went off right! Insults of any kind in Italian because he allegedly masters all languages and knows what he wants to understand. A wine carafe was missing, he wanted to bring her. Neither he nor the carafe came back. Around 22:15 almost all guests were gone in the restaurant. The owner came. She would have heard about the employee, wanted to apologize and send her son to us. We were glad that it was a bit more friendly, but it didn't go round with the drinks ordered. Although the store was practically empty at the end, it has not been possible to get a carafe red wine. Were all occupied by the son. Eating arrived at 22:50. By the way, very tasty but not worth all trouble). We've been wondering what went wrong all the time. Is it because we didn't talk in German? Did he have a fucking day somewhere else? We'll never know. Each has paid individually between 40€ and 60€. Card payment not possible! At the end there was still a threat on top of the waiter. As one of us noted that he has never been treated sooo badly in a restaurant where a dish can be obtained from 30€. He said, “I don’t speak to you, go away from me or we go outside!” became aggressive and had to be held by colleagues. Someone wanted to call the police, the whole kitchen staff came and didn't ask us to do it. Next time we could eat for free. There will be no next time for us. I hope they'll get rid of the waiter and that no one has to make such an experience. It is very frustrating to be treated as a paying guest!
