Linus - Dortmund

Update from 28.06.2016 last week, it was once again, with well-known I had arranged in the caffeine linus. because it was pleasantly warm, we took place in the semi-shadow on the terrace. there were not so many visitors, and we had free choice. the seats were comfortable, and a friendly service was also fast to place. I ordered a tee (darjeeling) with lemon for 2,80€ there were not the usual tee bags, but the transparent ones that leave a more trusting impression as they can see the individual tee leaves. on burger or similar delicacies I had no appetit, so I ordered for anyway 13.90€ 'covered bungalow' that animal did not have to hide as to think. a chicken carving was served in an olive soft cheese crust, with pommes fries and fresh market salad, refined with crès and sunflower seeds. everything tasted excellent, only the meat was a bit too dry. also my companions were satisfied with their orders (burger). what I noticed was that the services were not assigned to individual areas in our order, three different service forces were involved. as regards the assessment, I will stay with three stars because of the prices. evaluation of 23.06.2014, when they go from the shopping center galerien through the entrance of the propsteihof in direction silverstr., they come to the left side of the bookshop bonifatius and then see the terrace and the entrance to the caffe linus. this caffe has become a public magnet since 2009, which also has to do with the special atmosphere of the propsteihof. the place on the terrace is really pleasant, while the pseudo-modern facility of the restaurant is too factic and cool overall the prices for the food offered are a little high, if the meals were also imaginatively modified by exotic or piquante ingredients. are the sweets, whose price I find appropriate. it is often not easy to find a space for several people, safer is a phone table reservation. By the way, they can also rent a larger or smaller room for each party, even here the reservation should be made personally or by phone. the advice is thorough and accommodating, which also applies to the well-being staff. it is amazing to see which rest on or in the propsteihof dominates, although they are in the middle of the city. the publikum is quite conservative, as far as I have learned it to find out more information I would like to recommend the web page, special attention should be given to the menu there, I say only burger! Linus does not exist for so long, but was quickly known as a good location in theremund and it is very often that they do not have to find a free space and go again. the last is very tastefully decorated and should appeal to the elite of the city. the choice of food is not great, but there are interesting creations for choice and prices are not particularly low. that is exactly what the last characterizes that are only reasonable. the sweetnesses are also recommended, especially the cold velvet. the service is always nice and friendly and they are served quickly. for those who want to eat, there is a table reservation to recommend.

A good (between not only) insider tip. Have many friends even cut into the Linus because it's really great here. Everyone was thrilled. I always look forward to the changing season card, always creative, new. In the meantime, it can always be green.

The Linus is my favorite restaurant in Dortmund. The food is super tasty, and I was always served very friendly.

I was in the Linus for breakfast and was very impressed by the beautiful quiet ambience. Very tasteful furnishings in beautiful colors (beige-brown). The breakfast buffet was very rich and there was something for everyone. I also like the quiet location in the courtyard very well. I could imagine that you can sit outside very pleasantly. I'll definitely be back!
