Dortmund’s “small beer garden” in the house, thoroughly fit kitchen performance. Location: Located on the Hohen Straße towards the south, opposite the police office. Parking in this area is a bit difficult, but also parking in the house (probably for hotel guests, ambience: you enter the restaurant through the hotel lobby or through a glass door on the Hohen Straße. Something conservative, but very well maintained, lots of glass and chrome, red carpeting, dark tables with white runners, covered with wine glasses, cutlery, white fabric napkins, flowers in red pot cultivated on the tables, dark chairs with red covers, on the walls large pictures predominantly in red tones, many light spots over the tables. On the tables white porcelain shakers for salt and pepper, unfortunately no mills. At first glance, the restaurant looks slightly angled and narrow, but this is at the angle of view as there are different levels. However, there are enough distances between the tables. Service: Guests are kindly welcomed in the lobby. A young service served us attentively, friendly and competent, asked for our wishes, handed over the menu and the map with the current lunch offer and served our drink very quickly and quickly, a large bottle of mineral water. Our selected dishes: The a la carte menu includes an extra side for offered pifferling food from 5,50 – 17,50 €, 4 soups from 4,50 – 5,00 €, 3 appetizers from 7,50 – 12,50 €, vegetarian dishes from 8,50 – 9,50 €, 3 cold dishes 9.00 – 10,50 €, 7 main dishes with meat also steaks from 14,50 – 20,50 €, 3 x fish 15,00 After studying the menu we decided for the offered lunch table (here called a box stop, optionally 2 dishes : turkey spelt with late zle in a cream sauce with mushrooms plus 1 mixed supplement salad, incl. 1 ball of ice and a soft drink (8.50 € ), with we dispensed with the soft drink as we dispensed with a large mineral water Ardey source Premium Medium 0.75 l (5.30 €) The food came after a short pleasant waiting period, well because of the unfortunately often low time in the lunch break. The turkey fried correctly, good taste, the cream sauce should have been somewhat more creamy and more puffy according to our taste, the champignons were somewhat too gum-like to my taste. The late zle with still light bite. The whole is draped by a garden Cherrytomate and a leaf of fresh basil. Everything is served on a square and slightly curved large plate with a broad flag. The side salad (fresh, served in a small square porcelain bowl, consisted of a sheet of chicory, red, yellow and green paprika cut in strips, cucumber slices, lollo rosso and bianco, corn, tomato quarters and was dressed with a fruity and refreshing vinaigrette that had a light orange taste. For dessert, 1 ball of vanilla ice cream was served in a glass bowl (for my accompaniment 1 ball of desired chocolate ice cream was served with a waffel-like vanilla chocolate-colored bar, which fits the ice visually and tastefully. (see also photos The friendly, competent and attentive service automatically calculated 1 Euro less for us because of the non-use of the soft drink offered and included in the price of the lunch menu, so that the complete lunch menu cost us only 7.50 €. We found this very attentive and accommodating. I evaluate the service with 4 points. Beverages: As already mentioned above, at noon 0.75 l Ardeyquelle Premium Medium Mineral Water, well cooled (5.30 € Conclusion: Ordinary kitchen performance, which certainly still has air up, service attentive, competent and friendly, the restaurant makes a very perfect clean impression, as well as the toilets. A repetition of the visit is planned. The price performance ratio is o. k.
