Willie's Place - Dothan

The husband-and-wife team is delightful, and the music adds to the fun atmosphere. The dining experience is enjoyable. Although I had never tried Puerto Rican cuisine before, I found it somewhat similar to Jamaican food. I ordered the chicken with curry sauce, which wasn't as flavorful or spicy as I had hoped. However, I'm really glad I chose to eat here overall.

Amazing! The chicken mofongo was fantastic! Chef Willie came out to chat with us and was so entertaining! If you have the chance, it's definitely worth a try! Plus, the prices are reasonable!

I stopped for a quick bite while driving through the city. After a few vacations in Puerto Rico, I've become a fan of mofongo and other island delicacies. I decided to try the shrimp mofongo with the chef's special sauce, and it was fantastic. The large shrimp and the delicious sauce made it a real treat. My only suggestion would be to consider serving the shrimp separately in a dish alongside the mofongo!

Eating is always great here. that wait is usually a little long, but absolutely worth it. it's not almost food. this only place I know to get good Rican food than to visit mothers.

I've live here for only 3 years, but I have found the best food here in town! Come here if you want REAL flavor and soulful food!
