Thumbs Up Diner - Douglasville

My experience was terrible and frankly degrading. If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered three sandwiches—two with pork bacon and one with turkey bacon—each with extra mayonnaise. When I arrived at my destination, I discovered that two out of the three sandwiches were incorrect. All of them contained pork bacon, none had any mayonnaise, and the bread was hard. To make matters worse, there were only two tiny pieces of bacon on each sandwich. Just to clarify, they were all BLT sandwiches, which are supposed to have bacon, lettuce, and tomato.

The French toast is fantastic! I also customized my own omelet with chicken sausage, and I really enjoyed it.

I became a fan of this restaurant after seeing my coworkers order from there. I'm not usually a breakfast person, but I couldn't resist their fish and grits. The fish is a generous portion, perfectly seasoned, and the creamy stone-ground grits are amazing. I took my husband with me, and he couldn't stop raving about it. He tried a dish served in a skillet. The portions are generous, and everything tastes fantastic. The service was excellent as well. We definitely plan to return!

I had French toast and chicken tenders and it was great food. I didn't finish it. Our server Matthew B was excellent. I added a turkey BLT club w/mixed veggies to go. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff. Food was just ok. My husband I have been wanting to try out this spot for awhile. He loves shrimp and grits so we tried them out. They were just ok..a bit watered down. He also ordered a waffle which had no flavor. The catfish was tasty tho. We gave it a try.
